Welcome to Smithland Schnauzers! We are a small, in-home hobby breeder of miniature and toy schnauzers. We are not a kennel; all of our dogs are part of our family. Since we only have six schnauzers at this time, we are able to devote love and attention to all of them. Anyone is welcome to stop by and see us and see how are dogs are cared for. Just give us a call.
Our goal is to find all of our puppies loving homes in which they can be a joy and a blessing to their new human family.
All of our puppies are born, cared for and raised indoors. Our puppies are exposed to all the usual household noises, other pets and people so that they are well socialized and are not "surprised" when they leave us. We want the transition new home to be as smooth as possible.
Your puppy will be current on all vaccinations for its age and will have been wormed. Your puppy will have had a health examination by our veterinarian and the health and condition of the puppy will be documented. We give a one year health guarantee for any genetic defects. Your puppy must be taken to a licensed veterinarian with three days for a general health checkup. Should your veterinarian feel the puppy is ill or unfit for any reason, please have the veterinarian call us for discussion. Smithland Schnauzers is not responsible for any veterinary bills or charges unless approved by us in advance.
Each puppy comes to you with a puppy packet containing a sample of their food, their health record (showing all vaccinations and wormings), their own blanket and toys. Please do not take your new puppy to the pet store with you for supplies, etc. There are just too many dogs visiting there and your puppy’s immune system is not yet fully developed. This is especially true of dog parks and, if your puppy is being shipped, the property around the airport.
If, for any reason, you are unable to follow through with the purchase before the puppy turns eight weeks old, you will be refunded your deposit price less $100.00 after the puppy is re-sold. If the puppy is eight weeks or older, your deposit will not be refunded.
Shipping is available for our puppies for an additional charge. Shipping charges include the travel kennel, a veterinary exam and health certificate and the actual airline charges.
